ADDITIONAL SERVICE
Your sourcing team, already in Tanzania.
For international buyers who want reliable Tanzanian origin without opening an office here. Partner with us as we help you audit the farms, engineer the spec, run the harvest, hold the cold chain and put the shipment on the plane.
THE MANDATE
Origin risk, transferred.
We stand in the middle of all of that as your local proxy; auditing, negotiating, inspecting, aggregating and shipping, so the only thing that reaches your DC is exactly what you required, on the day you specified it.
WHAT WE SOURCE
Airfreight-grade produce, three categories.
We sourcing-consult only in categories where we can physically stand at the farm-gate and where the economics work by air. Everything below leaves Tanzania on a scheduled belly-hold or freighter within 24–48 hours of harvest.
01
Edible Vegetables
• French beans • Snow peas • Sugar snaps • Chillies • Baby corns
Cool-highland horticulture grown for the European retail and food-service spec, harvested to a same-day cold-chain cutoff for next-flight departure after packaging is complete.
02
Premium Fruits
• Haas avocado • Passion fruits • Mangos • Fresh berries • Exotic fruits • Fresh herbs
Fruit grown for export, not domestic sale. Hass avocado from Njombe and Mbeya’s altitude belt, passion fruit from Kilimanjaro, berries and exotic lines from vetted commercial estates.
03
Spices & Herbs
• Vanilla pods (Grade A) • Cardamom (high grade) • Fresh culinary herbs • Cloves • Cinnamon
Origin-controlled spice lots from the Southern Highlands and Zanzibar — moisture-tested, aflatoxin-screened and packed to buyer-market specification
SCOOP OF ENGAGEMENT
Have one accountable partner
01
Supplier auditing & farmer vetting
We audit farms and cooperatives against the standard your market actually enforces — GlobalGAP, SMETA / SEDEX, Organic, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance or ISO 22000. We also profile realistic periodic capacity so the volume you’re promised is the volume that can actually be delivered, week after week
02
Chemical & MRL compliance
We verify that only approved agricultural chemicals are being applied and that all inputs sit within the Maximum Residue Limits of your destination market. Non-compliance at destination is the fastest way to lose a shipment and a customer
03
Spec engineering
We turn a rough ask into a workable specification: variety, grade, size, packaging format, target certifications, volumes, delivery cadence and the destination-market rules that apply. What arrives at your DC matches what you sold to your buyer
04
Quality control
Inspection at farm-gate, pack-house and pre-shipment. Grading to spec. Lab testing where it matters — pesticide residues, aflatoxin, moisture. A defined process for rejects. Our team is physically present during harvest, checking size, colour, blemish-free skin and maturity before the product ever leaves the farm gate.
05
Price negotiation & contracting
As your local proxy we negotiate directly with cooperatives and growers to secure fair, localised pricing, insulating you from spot-market volatility and setting clear delivery schedules and payment terms in the language and format the local grower actually operates in.
06
Aggregation of smallholder volumes
We consolidate output from many smallholders into uniform, export-ready lots — same variety, same grade, same pack.
07
Post-harvest handling & cold chain
Our core discipline. Field heat removed within hours, unbroken cold chain from pack-house through JNIA / KIA and onto the aircraft. We are the freight forwarder the cold chain doesn’t get handed off to a stranger at the airport.
08
Tanzania-side issue resolution
TRA export clearance, TPHPA phytosanitary certification, TBS documentation, airline space, ULD build-up, last-minute farmer disputes, weather delays; every friction point on the Tanzanian side sits with us.
